Binging and ForcingBinging and Forcing
These are a few of my favorite things

The first time I had a clue that I enjoyed writing was after a week hike in the Sinai desert.
We were leaving the desert: the brown, purple, red colors, white sand, mountains, stars, Bedouins, mountains, and silence. I hiked with people that I learned to deeply admire. We were leaving and my pen started moving. It really didn't feel like I had control of it. It was there was a connection to my heart and that pen kept moving. Call it what you want but to me it was like looking up at the million stars in the desert.
These times are very few and far between but I find that writing really helps me return from a trip. The first few times I was really kind of shell shocked when I returned to America and the writing kind of soothed things over. Now I think it is just kind of a tool to make me feel better and it is not so dramatic.

There is no, "Forcing," on this type of experience.I think Forcing comes when we are maybe at a place we shouldn't be, but maybe it happens to all of us because there is deadlines and all that stuff. Binging is kind of the same story, I guess. I don't have any great ending but if I can keep interested and enthused about the things I do, "Binging" and "Forcing", will become retired.
